If encountering the "An administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information, contact the administrator." message when running the CP210xVCPInstaller.exe, you can bypass that message with the following process. See attached screenshots and video for reference.
0) Ensure that the Xy software is installed and located in the proper location on the PC. Example: C:\Xy folder
1) Open CommandPrompt as an administrator. Running without admin's elevated privileges will not be successful.
2) Copy the file location of CP210xVCPInstaller (seen in the blocking prompt, copied from FileExplore's address bar, or right-click->Properties on CP210's executable file). Example: "C:\Xy\drivers\vista64"
3) Paste the CP210's file path into the CommandPrompt line.
4) Add a backslash, then type (or copy and paste) CP210xVCPInstaller into the same CommandPrompt line. Command line should now contain path and executable. Example: "C:\Xy\drivers\vista64\CP210xVCPInstaller.exe"
5) Press Enter in the CommandPrompt to run the CP210xVCPInstaller program.
